Library rules and regulations
The school library is equipped with an adequate number of books, magazines, and dailies. Students are expected to follow these guidelines and make regular use of the library facilities.
- All students and members of the staff are members of the school library.
- Absolute silence must be maintained while reading, referring, taking, and returning books.
- Reference books cannot be taken out of the library under any circumstances.
- Library books are issued class-wise according to the schedule informed by the librarian.
- Students are not allowed to bring textbooks, story books, or reference books into the library.
- Students' personal belongings like bags and tiffin carriers must be kept outside the library.
- Students may borrow only one book at a time and can retain it for three days.
- If a borrowed book is not returned on due date, a fine may be levied depending on demand.
- Borrowers must not pass library books to others, and books must not be marked or damaged.
- Students should examine books at the time of borrowing and report any damage immediately.
- Lost, damaged, or carelessly handled books must be replaced or paid for.
- All borrowed books must be returned on or before 31 March for final exam eligibility.
