An Educational Institution of repute based on sound principles to absorb future life’s challenges, was the dream of the founder Dr.M.Balakrishnan. Dr.M.Balakrishnan was the Correspondent of the renowned SBOA Schools in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, for well over 12 years, managing, as an exclusive executive head for about one thousand teaching and non-teaching staff and a whopping students strength of 30,000.

Sri Bala Vidyalaya was established by Sri Bala Nanda Educational Trust in the year 2001. Sri Bala Nanda Educational Trust is the brain child of Dr.M.Balakrishnan, a renowed Educationist and Trade Union Leader. The Trust was registered with the District Registrar, Chennai – North vide registration No. 2877 of 2005.

The main objective of the Trust is to establish educational institutions on the pattern of English Public Schools at places where there is less concentration, adopting the quality of a model school and run the school providing good ambience / atmosphere for an enjoyable quality education to all.
The Trust believes that education should develop values in children, encourages physical development by providing scope for games and intra-murals. School shall equally have balanced approach towards academics, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
